About AJ Anthony
AJ Anthony is a San Francisco Bay Area native who spent more than fifteen years behind the bar — working pubs, restaurants, and nightclubs where stories don’t announce themselves, they leak out over time. Pour Judgement, Vol. 1 draws directly from those years in the trenches, weaving real-world experience into a crime-noir narrative shaped by late nights, loose tongues, and the quiet consequences that follow.
Beyond crime fiction, AJ is developing sci-fi and flash-fiction projects, expanding his storytelling into new territory while maintaining the same character-driven edge. He’s also a graphic designer and audiobook narrator, bringing a hands-on approach to every layer of his work — from page to sound to visual identity.
When he’s not writing, AJ can usually be found making art, playing league tennis, or racing cars in autocross competitions. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Angee and four cats.
