Aaron Davis is an investigative reporter for The Washington Post who has won the Pulitzer Prize twice and been a finalist three times. He was a lead writer and reporter on The Post’s investigative series into the causes, costs and aftermath of the January 6 attack, which along with other Post reporting won the 2022 Pulitzer for Public Service, the George Polk Award and the Toner Prize. In 2018, he was part of a Post team that won the Pulitzer for Investigative Reporting for coverage credited with changing the course of a U.S. Senate race. Davis previously wrote stories for teams that were Pulitzer finalists in 2014, 2019 and 2020. Davis has reported from 14 countries, with extended assignments in India, Iraq and Israel.
