I love telling stories inspired by the Bible, both in written form and with my audiobook narrations, while drawing deeply on Shakespeare and mythology. I have memorized thousands of lines of poetry and can come up with an instant quote for every occasion, and sometimes as a party trick!
My own poetry includes two epic poems or, if you prefer, fiction told in verse form. In ELIJAH, I reimagine the great prophet's spectacular life and miracles. It is also the central book in my EPICS COLLECTION, and among several of my own audiobook narrations.
This reinvention of the Bible story does include some "naughty bits", to quote one reviewer, so if you're looking for "God-breathed" stories with ecstatic visions of the divine, dueling angels, messenger birds, and shapeshifting beings — while remaining in 'PG' territory — you'll find them in my CHRISTIAN REVERIES COLLECTION.
