Abdiel is a Bible-inspired author and poet who draws deeply from Shakespeare and mythological tales. He writes short fiction, non-fiction, memoir, poetry collections, and epic poetry, including 'Elijah', and has some 25 books published, along with several collections.
As an actor, Abdiel has embodied most of the major Shakespearean roles on stages from New York to London to Beijing, and he has mounted three one-man shows, including the famous children’s tale, 'Wind in the Willows'.
Prior to entering publishing, he worked in journalism, broadcasting, and financial analysis. His passions include Argentine tango, yoga, and competitive swimming.
