My name is Al Roberts. I have lived in Jacksonville, FL, for 19 years now. I am from a small town in Northeast Georgia. I primarily provide services and care for the geriatric population, but also the occasional younger adult. I have been in the medical field for over 26 years. I have studied geriatric nutrition research for over 18 years, and I continue learning more about metabolic health and illness and how these are much larger issues within the geriatric population than anyone knows.
In my fee time, I enjoy the outdoors. I own a couple of small sailboats, a few kayaks, and enjoy the occasional beach day. I spend most of my free time out in my back yard where I have a large gardening area. I grow medicinal plants, cooking herbs, I have a vegetable garden and many berry bushes and vines, and fruit trees, including seven different varieties of citrus fruits. I have chickens and several outdoor cats.
