Growing up in the tropics in the late 20th century sparked my passion for medicine through reading science, literature, and the liberal arts. After graduating from the Ponce School of Medicine, I specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Nassau University Medical Center, rising to Chief Resident and focusing on chronic pain management. However, I realized we were only treating symptoms, not the root causes.
I then completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management and began advocating for alternative treatments, including dietary modifications. I co-founded Cannaworks Puerto Rico and shifted my focus to addressing hormonal imbalances and advanced therapies like peptides and personalized nutrition.
With 23 years of experience, I now share my knowledge to help improve my patients' health, encouraging a holistic approach to medicine that goes beyond symptom management.
