Alessa is an award-winning author who crafts historical fiction with fantasy undertones, rooted in Slavic and Norse traditions. She weaves together myth, history, forgotten folklore, and rune magic in a saga following a young noblewoman's journey toward truth, love, and identity. Her stories emerge from the crossroads of research and memory, where the echoes of the old gods linger, and the human heart still remembers the ancient songs.
Her debut novel, Runebound, is the first book in The Last Rune of Rungardvik series. It has been honored with the Literary Titan Gold Book Award, the Readers' Choice Gold Book Award, and a Silver Medal from Readers' Favorite. Alessa is currently working on Wayfare, with Winter's Hold on the horizon.
