Alex Hunter was the first child in his school year to be given an adult library card. He borrowed The Rats by James Herbert, and began to dream of giving other people nightmares. His short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies alongside some of today’s most exciting voices in horror. His debut novel, The Harvest (2025), became an Amazon bestseller. His second novel, The House That Screamed, is released in 2026. Based in the UK, he is working on his third novel in the company of too many books and not enough daylight.
