By day, Alex Enders is a nuclear engineer and project manager, living and working in Vienna, Austria. By night, ho ho! He transforms into a superhero, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound and repurposing old, unused phone booths that have sat empty for years. No, not really, he's just a regular guy, trying to be the best husband and father he can, and occasionally hammering out something that distantly resembles something other people might want to read. He can really only write in 2-3 hour chunks (it takes about 30 minutes to get into the flow of writing), so that means either getting up really early -- which has a certain charm to it some mornings -- or long plane rides during work trips. He enjoys writing books that teach you something, in addition to just being entertaining. Some of his topics include cosmology, the cosmic microwave background, artificial intelligence, the Gravity Probe B experiment, and really big coronal mass ejections from the sun.
