Hello. My name is Ilker. Ali Igor is my pen name, I use it from time to time.
I grew up reading tales by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Being caught between analytic thinking and daydreaming, I always cherished the ability to write and tell a story.
I studied Dramatic Writing at Suleyman Demirel University and was fortunate to learn the art of writing from some of the best in the field.
Since 2014, I have been living as an advertiser, gamer, narrative designer, and story writer. After gaining enough experience in book marketing, the courage to write, and collecting some Turkish mythology tales from precious sources (like Tarih Obası by Ceren Sungur, Prof. Yasar Coruhlu, and many more), I decided it was time to begin my journey.
I am happily married and the father to a large cat with an amazingly big and compassionate heart named Mulayim.
P.S.: He is not fat; he is a fun mixture of a Norwegian Forest Cat and a tabby.
