Since writing Heaven Sent, Alison returned to school receiving a masters in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy, and ordination in the Swedenborgian Church of North America. She was assistant to the Pastor in Kitchener, Ontario, full pastor in Bath Maine, and is now the full Pastor at the Kitchener Church of the Good Shepherd, Swedenborgian. She divorced her first husband and has married a college sweetheart, changing her name to Alison Longstaff Moore. In 2024 she completed the second novel, To Rule Britannia, seeing it published in late 2025.
