Allie Slocum started a writing club in 3rd grade. After inviting the entire class, she only had 1 member on Day 1 and by Day 2, she was alone. Fast-forward a whole bunch of years and she has a thriving Writing Club at her elementary school where she teaches plus two book series in the works: the Character Club and Character Club Lil Sibs. The Character Club Series engages children ages 8 and up to help teachers & parents inspire strong moral character. A glossary and discussion questions are included for advanced understanding. The Lil Sibs series teaches the parts of speech alongside simple moral lessons for K-2nd grade. She resides in Colorado with her husband, two daughters, and golden retriever puppy.
