Amiya Cleveland was born in 1981 and raised in the renowned Fort Worth, Texas neighborhood known as “Stop Six.”. An introvert by design, Amiya wasn’t allowed to play outside in the dangerous neighborhood named after its stop along the “colored only“ streetcar route. Instead, she developed a love of reading and writing in her solitude. Amiya’s southern roots, flavor and contrast the sexuality and ritualistic practices she envisioned and created for her debut novel, “Sex Magic and Food.” In her quest and exploration of the possibilities for those desperate for love, Cleveland plans to publish a series of sequels to “Sex Magic and Food,” along with accompanying cookbooks on cannabis enchantments.
Amiya is also a wife of 20 years and a mother of four children. She owns ITSO Vegan restaurant in Grand Prairie, Tx.
