At a young age Amy felt drawn to live in Africa. During her travels, she fell in love with both the people and the wild animals she encountered. She also saw the trauma and adversity that many children faced both in the United States and across the globe. Being moved by their stories, she wanted to help children through a series of books specifically geared for those who have experienced trauma. Together, Amy’s heart for children and her adventurous spirit have created the unique series of Limba Children’s Books. The mission of Limba Children’s Books is to entertain but more importantly to help kids relate to their difficult situations and let them know that they are valued, loved and not alone.
