Andi Seals is an award-winning mixed media artist and writer whose work explores the intersection of art, grief, and spiritual connection. Raised in New York City, she attended the High School of Art and Design and later earned her B.A. from Vermont College of Norwich University.
After moving to Tennessee, she founded a Montessori school in Hendersonville and worked as an educator for many years. Following the death of her husband, singer-songwriter Dan Seals, in 2009 after thirty-three years of marriage, Andi focused more on painting and writing as a way of exploring love’s enduring presence.
Her artwork has been featured in galleries, museums, and healing spaces across the country, including the Ratner Museum, the National Institutes of Health Main Gallery in Washington, D.C. and Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
She is the author/illustrator of A Crocus in Winter and the author/illustrator of The Width of Heaven: A Memoir of a Love Without End. She lives and works in Tennessee.
