Angie Galler Bowen earned master’s in clinical social work at UT Knoxville, held licenses in TN, FL and NC. Over 25 years, Angie taught college psychology, social work, social welfare, was on local tv/radio, conducted CEU workshops for peers, facilitated women’s spiritual retreats, children’s grief groups at public elementary schools, private practice with individuals and couples. Last five years EAP contracted with USPS and FL military. Clinical expertise certificates in cognitive behavioral therapy for depression, social phobias, anxiety disorders, PTSD, hypnotherapy smoking cessation, OCD, unforgiveness and perfectionism’s devastating effects on relationships. Retired to care for her husband when he developed dementia. Lost him to cancer in 2018. When not writing or volunteering, she has enjoyed retirement with her special little 8 lb. companion Georgia, a chocolate toy poodle, grandchildren (now grown) and by the grace of God, her new husband Tom. ‘Saints Codependent-Good From Evil’ is out (2020) in bookstores and selling well. And she appreciates all your feedback. The second in this trilogy ‘Living Life On Life’s Terms - Not As Easy As If Sounds was published in 2022. Both of these books are available in Audible form. The narrator of both these novels is none other than the actor Alex Hyde-White. The third and final novel in the trilogy CoVid Murders Priestly Sins is being edited and should be published in late 2026 in both written and Audible form and available through all book outlets. Angie extends heartfelt gratitude to her readers for their precious time in reading her novels. It is her hope that they are immensely entertaining as well as clinically educational.
