Anișoara Laura Mustețiu is a Romanian-born author based in Sydney, Australia. Born in Timișoara, she lived for more than two decades in Germany before moving to Australia in 2014. Her life across three countries, languages and cultures has shaped the emotional landscape of her writing.
She writes psychological fiction, poetry and true-life stories exploring migration and belonging, love and loss, identity, resilience and inner transformation. Her latest novel, *Forgotten in Foreign Lands*, is inspired by true events and brings literature into dialogue with insights from psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, personal development and the mental discipline of endurance sport. Her other books include *Between Kiss and Pain*, *The Price of Honour*, *Fragments of a Woman’s Life*, *Letters for My Soul* and *Emotions and Light*.
Her academic background spans economics, German literature, journalism, business and communication, with a specialisation in Business and Creative Writing. Her poetry and prose have appeared in cultural publications in Romania, Austria, Germany, Australia and the United States.
She is the founder of the Romanian-Australian Book Club, editor-in-chief of the Sydney-based cultural magazine *Emoții și Lumină*, and a radio host at Radio ProDiaspora.
Through lyrical and reflective prose, she explores the hidden forces that shape a life and the quiet courage through which people rebuild themselves.
