Hello! Thanks for visiting. I live in the UK with my family and Monty, our dog, who features in a few of my books!
Since becoming a mother, writing stories and introducing my girls to Chinese has become a real passion of mine. As a first-generation British Born Chinese (BBC) and Hakka speaker, I know first-hand how easily languages can be lost within a generation.
I started creating bilingual children’s books in 2017, after struggling to find language resources beyond tablets and screens. As both a mother and an optometrist, I understand the importance of creating resources that feel engaging, gentle and enjoyable for young children. My aim has always been to create books that support families, including non-native speakers, who are trying to keep languages alive at home.
I am proud to work with wonderful artists, translators and voice-over artists who help bring these books to life. I believe children deserve books made with creativity, care and heart, and I am passionate about supporting the people behind that creative work.
After nearly nine years of publishing bilingual books, I remain committed to producing thoughtful, carefully made stories with genuine purpose behind them.
