Born in Jamaica and raised in Atlanta, Ann Michelle Harris is lawyer and writer with a background in public interest work. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, the Atlanta Writers Club, and Georgia Romance Writers. She has a degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Emory University. She is a Maggie Award finalist, a double finalist for the national Pages From the Heart award, and a finalist for the Eleanor Taylor Bland Award for emerging crime writers of color from Sisters in Crime. In addition to writing, she loves sci-fi, anime, yoga, fancy doughnuts, and vacations at the beach.
