Annie Zachary is guided by a handful of passions that shape every part of her life—her faith, her family, spending time with women and teens, and her commitment to fighting modern day slavery. Throughout her journey, she was mentored at pivotal moments: in high school, in college, as a newlywed, and again when motherhood began.
Those experiences formed a conviction that has never left her: whatever life brings, she will pay it forward. Annie is devoted to helping women and young people the way she was helped—through encouragement, truth, and hope.
During a decade of meeting with sex trafficking survivors in safe house settings, Annie searched for novels that captured the realities of trafficking alongside the raw, uncertain season after rescue and found few. This motivated her to create the Renamed Series: I’m Finley, Not Amber and A Different Kind of Daddy (to be released summer 2026).
Annie treasures being Pip to her grandkids and loves time with her family, along with biking and teaching yogalates. She and her husband, Doug—also known as Pop—are always planning their next travel adventure.
