April lives in Indiana and is a mother to two, extraordinary daughters and their husbands. She has eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her family means everything to her. When not with family, reading, or writing, April enjoys walking, hiking, loves to travel and is most happy with her toes at water’s edge of a beach. She also looks forward to attending worship with her church family each week. April Decton never aspired to be a writer. After fighting her first story for nearly five years, she gave in. She appreciates those that have encouraged her since the writing journey began and is in love with each story she's writes. April loves attending author events and meeting new readers at her table.
