Long-time San Diego resident, Austin Thomas Burton grew up in a small college town that couldn’t decide if it was Southern, Midwestern or just wouldn’t fit in anywhere. That static childhood resulted in a restless need to see the country and the world. So far, he’s been lucky enough to visit over 16 countries and lived in 11 towns in 4 states.
His interests are widely varied and often in conflict with one another, but chances are he’s reading a book at the moment.
Burton currently lives in an 1897 Georgian Revival house in Toledo, Ohio’s historic Old West End with his husband and Cicero, a spoiled canary. Sadly, the house is not haunted (as he was promised).
