B.B. Illian a retired teacher, U.S. Army Veteran, and author who calls the beautiful backroads of South Georgia home. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys life with her husband, their dog, and a lively flock of chickens.
Together, B.B. and her husband have raised six children and are now enjoying the blessings—and adventures—of seven grandchildren. Years spent teaching, serving in the Army, and raising a family have given B.B. a deep appreciation for strong characters, unforgettable stories, and the resilience of the human spirit.
Her imagination, however, has always had a life of its own. B.B. loves weaving romance, fantasy, mythology, suspense, and the supernatural into stories filled with powerful characters, complicated relationships, danger, and a little bit of magic. Her goal as an author is to create worlds readers can escape into and characters they won't soon forget.
