Barry “Butch” Wilmore, U.S. Navy Captain (Ret.) and NASA astronaut, has logged 464 days in space across three missions. A Tennessee native and Tennessee Tech graduate, he is a decorated test pilot with more than 8,000 flight hours and 663 carrier landings. He piloted Atlantis, commanded the International Space Station, and most recently led Boeing’s first crewed Starliner flight. Known for his humility, middle-Tennessee steadiness, and Christ-anchored leadership, Butch speaks worldwide on perseverance, calling, and the providence of God. He and his wife, Deanna, have two daughters and live in Houston, Texas — where his feet are planted firmly on the ground when he’s not orbiting above it.
