I have spent my life pursuing my dreams - from company controller to airline employee, writing scripts and designing eLearning lessons' each career choice has been one more step up the staircase on this incredible journey called life. My journey has led me to hike the Appalachian Trail, white water raft, and explore the world. I often volunteer to help others and I love road trips and gardening. These continue to be my mainstays in my life, but my greatest accomplishment was adopting and raising my son, teaching him to understand that life is a journey to be enjoyed. My debut novel, The Length of Our Staircase, tells the story of a woman who by taking it one step at a time, helps her child make his dreams and her own come true.
