Bill Baynes is a writer, producer and director, a former journalist and magazine publisher. He has worked in many media formats, ranging from newspapers to feature films, from magazines to websites. He has previously written for the Miami Herald and the Associated Press, and won awards as a documentary filmmaker.
A specialist in public interest marketing, he has developed dozens of media campaigns about health-related topics, including the first two HIV prevention campaigns released by the State of California. He has worked with many school systems to teach students to create their own messages on various issues, such as tobacco prevention and nutrition.
He has released four works of fiction with four different Indie publishers. He has also published stories and poetry in various literary magazines.
Bill is a board member of Gold Country Writers in Auburn, CA.
