Bill Ryan is a builder, entrepreneur, and author whose work explores the intersection of leadership, design, and intentional living.
Born into a Chicago homebuilding family, Bill spent his early years on construction sites before eventually leading Town & Country Homes as President. Under his leadership, the company tripled sales in three years and became the first production builder selected to build homes in Disney’s new town of Celebration. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Bill was named to Crain’s Chicago Business “40 Under 40” and later recognized by the National Association of Home Builders as a Legend in Residential Marketing.
Over the course of his career, Bill has designed hundreds of homes and contributed to the development and sale of more than 10,000 residences. He later founded two development companies—The Roslin Group and Wyndham Development Group—focused on design-forward residential and mixed-use communities across the Midwest.
Today Bill lives in Florida, where he continues his work through writing, real estate, and design. His books explore themes of purpose, leadership, and the systems that shape how we live, From the homes we build to the habits that guide our lives.
Across his work, Bill returns to a simple idea: that a meaningful life, like a well-built home, begins with a clear foundation.
