Brenda Bairn has never met a dog she didn’t love, a mystery she didn’t want to solve, or a craft she wasn’t willing to try at least once. A lifelong bookworm, she has a special fondness for whodunnits, though she happily reads across every genre.
When she isn’t curled up with a book, Brenda is usually at her sewing machine or with knitting needles or a crochet hook in hand. She admits not every craft project has been a success, but quilting remains her favorite creative outlet. Balancing her artistic side, Brenda also holds a third-degree black belt in TaeKwonDo—a reminder that she’s as disciplined as she is imaginative.
Brenda spent nearly two decades in the entertainment industry, working behind the scenes in both television and film, before moving into the medical device field later in her career. Born in the Midwest with Scottish, Irish, and British roots, she has lived in four different time zones and gathered a lifetime of experiences to draw from.
These days, Brenda enjoys retirement by blending her love of animals, crafts, and storytelling into new adventures on the page.
