I'm an author, researcher, natural health educator, and lifelong question-asker who has spent more than 50 years wondering, “But why?”—and then going off to find the answer. One question usually leads to another, so apparently I'm not finished yet.
My book, Heavy Metals, Chemicals, and Hidden Toxins, grew from years of research into what's hiding in our food, water, air, household products, and everyday environment. I especially write for fellow question-askers, label readers, truth seekers, and dot connectors who suspect there may be more to the story when it comes to their health.
I'm also the author of A Prepper's Guide for a Zombie Attack, where I managed to combine practical emergency preparedness with zombies and a sense of humor, and Bullycide in America, a book with a much more personal beginning. After losing my son to bullycide in 1998, I founded Bully Police USA and spent years advocating for stronger anti-bullying laws. When all 50 states had finally enacted anti-bullying laws, Bully Police USA had accomplished what it set out to do, and I closed that chapter of my life.
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from BYU and live in Eastern Idaho with my husband, Bill. I continue to research, write, ask questions, connect dots—and occasionally discover that one answer has given me five new questions.
