Brian d’Eon is a writer who lives in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. His writing pursuits have been forged largely in the fires of live theatre where, for thirty years, he has participated as an actor, director, and playwright. Four of his stage plays have been produced locally and one in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Brian also has a passion for the nearly extinct art form of radio drama. Over the past couple of decades, he has produced and broadcast more than a dozen original radio dramas plus radio adaptations of famous classical scripts like Oedipus Rex and Macbeth.
Brian's novels and novellas are available in multiple formats, including as audiobooks, with Brian himself narrating.
In recent years, Brian has focused his attention mostly on fiction, both historical and speculative. Sometimes a little magical realism creeps in as well.
