Bryan Cox is a church planter, pastor, communicator, and leadership coach with over 30 years of ministry experience.
He has served in nearly every role on a church staff, including worship pastor, executive pastor, senior pastor, and associate pastor, giving him a rare, well-rounded perspective on how churches grow, lead, and sustain
healthy culture.
Bryan is one the co-founders of Marathon Church, which he helped plant in 1997. The Church grew from 25 to over
2000 in attendance in a few years.
Along the way, he helped launch multiple multisite campuses and has coached and supported the start of numerous other churches, walking alongside leaders through the real challenges of ministry.
Currently, Bryan serves as an Associate Pastor at Second Chance Church in Anderson, South Carolina, where
he continues to invest in leaders, strengthen communication, and help build environments where people feel
welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow in their faith.
In addition to his pastoral role, Bryan is the host of the Speak On Purpose Podcast, where he equips
pastors and communicators to lead with clarity, communicate with confidence, and build church culture intentionally.
