Calvin's writing has been described as suspenseful and immersive, a cinematic style of writing that has grown from his background in acting and directing. Calvin is from Southern California, where he has lived his entire life. He went to school at UC San Diego, where he received a BS in Structural Engineering and now works full time as a writer. He currently resides in Los Angeles and can frequently be found either hanging around a movie theater or living between the stacks of the local bookstore.
