The novel centers on Costantino “Cost” Caduto Jr., a man navigating heartbreak, organized crime, and fractured family ties in contemporary Milwaukee.
Before turning to fiction writing, Carlo led a successful corporate career, honed by a passion for resilience that began on the basketball court. His storytelling is shaped by personal experience—from his grandfather’s death during the pandemic to a divorce that tested his faith in self and others, each moment fueling the emotional depth of his writing. He lives in Milwaukee with his two daughters.
