Casey Dunne is the author of The Queen of Lyria Trilogy and The Body and Soul Poetry Collection. She holds her MA in Mental Health Counseling: Body Psychotherapy from Naropa University and works as a somatic psychotherapist and priestess in Boulder, Colorado. She lives with her partner and her dog, Athena.
Casey writes to give form to the things that live beneath language — shadow, myth, the unnamed grief that moves through bodies and bloodlines. Her fantasy worlds are built from the same material she works with clinically: trauma, initiation, the psyche’s hunger for wholeness. She is interested in what the unconscious knows that the conscious mind hasn’t caught up to yet, and in the kinds of stories that help us get there.
