I live in Lancashire with two dogs, two cats and an understanding partner. From an early age I was an avid reader and would get 'twitchy' if I didn't have a good book on the go. I remember cycling to my local library every other Saturday with the basket on the back full of the books I'd read, then spending hours happily looking through the shelves for the next ones to take home. Writing is a key part of my life and I enjoy creating strong characters and seeing them develop throughout the novel, admittedly not always in the way I imagined when I plotted out the first draft.
