I am Cathlyn de Burga – author, artist and creative soul from the picturesque town of Meißen, Germany.
I have loved books for as long as I can remember. The world of words captivated me from childhood – first as a reader, then as someone who had something of her own to say. The inner calling to write came to me in 1993. That I finally answered it officially, publishing my books independently, began in 2023 – late, some might say. I say: at exactly the right time.
I have been creatively active since 1991. Writing, designing, creating – for me this is not a job but a vocation. A matter of the heart, one I live a little more fully with every book I write.
As a highly sensitive woman, I write for everyone who moves through this world with a fine and open soul – sensitive adults seeking depth and meaning, and young people, children and teenagers who need a voice that truly understands them.
Because I know what it feels like to live in a world that is often too loud, too fast and too shallow. High sensitivity is not a flaw – it is a gift.
