Charles Forest Watts Jr. was born and raised in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, where he first learned the art of stilt walking as a youth. Today, he is a cultural guardian of the moko jumbie tradition — a stilt walker, costume designer, mask maker, and instructor who teaches new generations to carry on this vibrant Caribbean heritage. Through his storytelling and performances, Charles shares the magic of moko jumbies with children and families everywhere, celebrating culture, courage, and community.
