Charles Tindell's writing career began one hot July day in 1995 while sitting in a canoe in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. His first book, Seeing Beyond the Wrinkles is the recipient of the National Maure Media's coveted GOLD AWARD designating it among "The Best in Educational Material for Older Adults." His second book, The Enduring Human spirit, is the recipient of the National Mature Media's silver Award, symbolizing that the work is among the best of the best. Since then he has written a series of quirky mysteries (nine in all and working, at age, 82, on his 10th.) He has also written a novel, Grandpa's Legacy. His latest book, Life's Journey: What's in your Suitcase, is based on his many years as a Pastor helping people with their own life journeys. He and his wife of nearly 60 years, Carol, live in Apple Valley, MN. Has three sons, and four grandchildren. Hobbies over the years have been oil painting, ventriloquism, baking bread, collecting hourglasses, etc.
