I grew up loving the stories of my family's exploits in World War II and was proud of my father's work at the Pentagon as a civilian employee. My uncles and my father have passed away, but their stories , like legends, live vividly in my mind and our family lore.
My brother and I served in the Marines. My experience took me to Norway and kindled an interest in geopolitics and espionage. I continued that interest with my studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I recieved a BA in History, but not before learning about counter espionage in a summer job at the J. Edgar Hoover Building in my hometown, Washington, DC.
After a masters in Counseling Psychology, I spent several years in mental healhcare, as well as, managing businesses. My desire to write was strong and I first tried to write a screenplay, but found that novels were more to my writing style. Research is another love and I try to incorporate easter eggs and facts of culture, time, and place in my novels. I'm currently working on my second novel in my first trilogy.
