Cheri Warcholak Lohrey was born in Virginia and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia. She graduated from Fairmont State College with a degree in Education. After she married her college sweetheart, Cheri and her husband Scott moved to Ohio. Before they started their family, she earned a master's in school counseling from Kent State University in Ohio.
