Chris Harvey is the Founder and Chief Research Officer of HR Technology Advice, an analyst firm exclusively dedicated to HR technology research. For more than twenty-five years he has held senior leadership positions at technology companies — spanning marketing, competitive intelligence, sales, and market research — and has spent over a decade advising disruptive startups and HR tech companies on go-to-market strategy and competitive positioning.
He is also the author of a series of pirate novels.
That second fact surprises most people who know him professionally. Chris is a husband and proud father of three — and, as it turns out, literally a son of a son of a sailor. His grandfather served in the merchant marines during World War II. His great-grandfather was first mate on merchant brigantines sailing from the coast of Maine to the Caribbean. The sea is in his veins.
