Chris writes science fiction, and although he frequently tries to write in other genres, somehow, a wormhole always seems to open up and plunge the story into a parallel universe. Chris lives in Bozeman, Montana, where he owns & publishes Distinctly Montana Magazine with his wife, Pattra. While he's not writing, Chris enjoys reading, hiking, exploring, and traveling. He's lived all over the USA and also lived in Thailand for four years, where he wrote The Obsolescence Trilogy.
If you asked him, he wouldn't be able to explain why he wrote this author biography in the third person. Chris only refers to himself in the third person in his author profiles. He thinks that doing so regularly would be an open invitation to any number of personality disorders. While he may be a little bit weird, he has yet to be diagnosed with a personality disorder, and he hopes to keep it that way. To that end, he will cease and desist (tautology intentional) from writing about himself in the third person at the end of this profile.
