Christian Kang Bachini writes high-concept, cinematic horror that combines science-fiction spectacle with supernatural horror—and just enough gallows humor to smile through the dread. Born in Italy, he abandoned the idea of a sensible career at twenty-three and moved to the Far East to chase a martial-arts acting dream. He learned Mandarin, took punches for a living, choreographed fights for film, and worked across Asia and Europe as both a performer and producer. In 2021, horror came calling. Loudly. He stepped behind the camera to direct ESCALATION, an award-winning proof-of-concept short he plans to develop into a feature following the film’s successful festival run. He is the author of HAUNTING SKIES, the opening chapter of an apocalyptic saga in which alien invaders discover that humanity may not be the most terrifying force on Earth.
When Christian is not writing or on set, he spends time in nature and continues his lifelong attempt to become a real-life Dr. Dolittle.
