Christine Dawood is an organisational psychologist, leadership coach, and philanthropist. Born in Bavaria, she studied at Kingston University and the Saïd Business School at Oxford. She has lived in England for over a decade.
In June 2023, her husband Shahzada and nineteen-year-old son Suleman were lost when the Titan submersible imploded.
Ninety-Six Hours is her first book, a memoir of those days, and of the two decades of love and family life that preceded them. All proceeds go to The Suleman and Shahzada Dawood Foundation.
In the wake of her loss, Christine walked 400 miles from London to Glasgow, the route her son had always planned to walk home from university. That journey seeded her next purpose: The Healing Centre, a planned residential retreat for grief and trauma in the UK. It will be the safe haven she looked for after her own loss, and could not find.
She lives in Surrey with her daughter and their Bernese mountain dog, Stig.
