Connie Hunter-Urban grew up in Oxford, Ohio, one of eight children. She was graduated from Talawanda High School in Oxford and received her B.A. degree in English and M.A. degree in Secondary Education from Miami University, also in Oxford. She worked as a high school English teacher for 33 years before she retired in 2009. She is married to Wade Urban, and between them they have five daughters, seven grandchildren, and two great-children. Connie and Wade have ministered in many capacities: pastors, evangelists, writers, teachers. They also speak at churches and conferences. They have published a bi-monthly newsletter for many years, and Connie has written articles and chapters for magazines and books. God's Plan for Our Success, Nehemiah's Way, published through Destiny Image, was her first book to be published. Her second book, The Elijah Anointing, was published in December 2014. She and Wade co-authored a book, Your Holy Spirit Arsenal, which was published in 2018. Be Healed! was released in 2019. She also has a children's book series, The Josie Adventures.
