A little history about myself: I once wanted to write just for children. I created characters that were perfect for them. Sweet, good, and full of hope. It was like a metaphor for their innocence. Then my wonderful characters grew up and found alcohol. Lots of it. Along with an unhealthy dose of heartbreak, tragedy, and a dreadful sense of humor, it became the twisted metaphor for my life.
