Dana Kirk lives at the corner of Podunk and Nowhere, USA and she likes it there. She is blessed with a sister with Down Syndrome, who inspired her first book "Where I Belong"; a neurodiverse family; an expansive imagination; and an unfailing need to create. As an educator since 2005, her students and colleagues often provided an active review board for her latest literary antics. When she is not writing, drawing, or teaching, Dana enjoys the ocean, pirates, collecting ABC books, and climbing trees.
