Daniel Harris is an Indiana native, a proud father of two daughters, and an Army veteran with a lifelong passion for creativity and innovation. From a young age, Daniel was driven by entrepreneurial spirit and out-of-the-box thinking—dating back to middle school, when he designed a solar-powered heated dog bowl to keep his pet's water from freezing. This inventive mindset carried through into his adult life and led him to pursue writing as a way to bring his imaginative worlds to life.
Daniel’s love for storytelling is deeply rooted in his experiences growing up in the city while spending summers on ranches and farms. Drawing inspiration from these contrasting environments, he modeled his main character, Jake Slade, after the image of a modern-day cowboy—resulting in a unique blend of adventure and quantum science. His debut work, Quantum Range, explores the eternal struggle between light and dark, exploring the complex choices we make in the face of temptation and the societal pressures to conform.
