Darrel Day has written and published 40 books including "Abduction", "Penance" {the sequel to Abduction}, "Into the Abyss" and "A Haunted Love". He has written and published a Sci-fi titled "Ice Changers." He has two novels that are a collection of four of his best short stories. He has also published two biographies, one of which is a True Crime story. He has an ongoing series of paranormal/occult type books as well as books with witches, vampires, zombies and werewolves. He has written and published a six series short story titled "The Witches of the Forest". that includes The Forest Has Ears. Darrel writes in the Genres of paranormal romance, suspense thriller, sci-fi, true crime and inspirational.
He is the singer/lyrics writer of over 100 songs and has produced a CD titled "SimplyD" that includes 13 of his songs.
Darrel continues to write and makes his novels available both in print format and E-Book format. He has done many ghost writing books as well as writing for speeches.
Darrel has a great passion for the outdoors and spends as much time as life allows at a lake near his home. He loves to fish and watch the wild-life that surround the lake. He considers the inspiration he finds while walking along the shore line immeasurable. He takes what he sees and transfers the scene to the written word. Life experiences have given him the ability to feel what he sees and create a novel from it.
