Born in Hamilton in 1952, Dave is married with five children. He lives with his wife Kay in Tain. He has lived in the Highlands since 1986 and has found it a wonderful place to live, bring up kids and work in the creative arts.
Dave has worked in touring theatre since 1985. Previously Ihe worked as a drummer, circus hand an illustrator and a plate-snatcher.
Dave started working in theatre with Clown Jewels. He received his first commission in 2000 and formed Right Lines Productions. He also runs Cartoon Theatre which combines animation with live performance.
He now concentrates on writing plays and novels and enjoying his surroundings.
