Dr. Grimes grew up in Tampa, FL and graduated from King High School
in Temple Terrace, FL (suburb of Tampa). He graduated from the Univ. of
KY with a BS in Medical Technology. He graduated from the Univ. of KY
College of Medicine with a MD degree. He graduated from the Univ. of
KY College of Public Health with a MPH degree. Needless UK Wildcat
Blue is his favorite color. He is a Lifetime Fellow of ACOG.
He served in the USAF for 11 years. He completed his OB/GYN
residency at Wilford Hall USAF at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. He
was on the hospital staff at Clark AFB in the Philippines at the end of the
Vietnam War. He returned to a teaching position at Wilford Hall until
going into private practice in Greenville, KY and Paducah, KY, his wife’s
hometown. He became Medical Director of Family Health for the
Arkansas Department of Health and now runs a consulting medical
practice and lives with his wife in Hot Springs Village, AR.
Dr. Grimes has three children and three grandchildren
